In a property he was renting in Kanombe sector, Busanza cell, the Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB) has detained one Kazungu Denis who is suspected of killing people and dumping them in a mass grave.
According to the news, the suspect would have killed up to ten people, but RIB indicated in a tweet that the investigation is still ongoing to determine how many people and when they would have died.
In order to determine the victims’ identities, RIB is still conducting its investigation. According to local media, they are made up of the women who the suspect allegedly used to bring home and rape before robbing them and killing them.
If found guilty, Kazungu would face a life sentence in prison under Rwanda’s penal code’s Article 107.
